This glazed ceramic ball depicts a lively Christmas motif composed of two large red flowers, similar to poinsettias, flanked by white flowers, intense green holly leaves, red berries, and two lit candles at the centre of the composition. The candles, symbols of light and spirituality, are elegantly rendered with golden details surrounding the entire decoration. The design is harmonious and balanced, warmly evoking classic and traditional Christmas atmospheres.

The creation of the ball is entirely artisanal and Italian. Starting from liquid clay, called slip, which is poured into plaster molds to achieve the spherical shape. Once the desired thickness is reached, the first firing at 1000°C, called biscuit firing, is carried out, preparing the surface for decoration.

The design is entirely hand-painted using lead-free, environmentally safe, and brilliant enamels. After decoration, the ball is immersed in a bath of crystal clear glaze, a transparent glassy finish that enhances the colours and protects the surface. The ornament then undergoes a second firing at 920°C, permanently fixing the decorations.

Adding to the ball's value is the 10% pure gold finish, illuminating the details with a unique brightness. This final touch requires an additional final firing at 720°C.

The result is an exclusive decoration that combines tradition, colour, and excellent craftsmanship, perfect for adding warmth and beauty to the Christmas tree or as a gift. Made in Italy.
