Lemax Houses, Buildings, Churches and Facades

How to Choose Lemax Houses and Buildings for Your Village

Lemax houses are the starting point for designing a Christmas village and allow you to define its style and size right from the beginning. For a small display, you can choose just a few key buildings, creating, for example, a street with houses and shops or a cosy town square. With more space available, you can create entire neighbourhoods, combining illuminated Lemax houses, shops, public buildings and structures of different sizes.

To achieve a harmonious result, it is useful to consider the role of each building within the scene. Shops, boutiques, restaurants and bakeries can be grouped together along the busiest streets, while houses and smaller buildings are ideal for residential areas. Stations, hotels, town halls and other important buildings can become landmarks around which new areas of the Lemax Christmas village can be developed.

How to Create Streets and Squares with Lemax Buildings

Arranging Lemax buildings according to a clear layout helps transform a collection of miniatures into a real Christmas town. One of the simplest solutions is to create a main street, positioning buildings on both sides and completing the scene with street lamps, trees, figures and other accessories. Alternatively, buildings can be arranged around a central area to recreate a town square, perhaps with a large Christmas tree, a Christmas market or an ice-skating rink.

Using multiple levels can also make the landscape more realistic. By placing some Lemax houses on small raised areas, you can create sloping streets, elevated neighbourhoods and buildings that remain visible in the background. Paths, steps, walls, fences and vegetation can then be used to connect the different levels and create continuity throughout the display.

Lemax Facades: What Are They and How Can You Use Them?

Lemax Facades are a particularly useful solution when you want to visually expand your village without taking up the space required by a full-size building. Thanks to their reduced depth, they can be positioned towards the back of the display, where they help recreate rows of shops, shopping streets and urban scenes.

Facades are also useful for creating a Lemax village in a small space, for example on a shelf, piece of furniture or narrow surface. By placing several Facades side by side, you can create the appearance of a street filled with buildings while using the space in front for figures, trees, street lamps and small scenes. In larger villages, they can instead be used to increase the sense of perspective and depth, reserving full-size buildings for the foreground and central areas.

Lemax Churches: A Landmark in Your Christmas Village

Lemax churches can play a central role in the design of a village, especially when you want to recreate the appearance of a traditional town decorated for Christmas. A church can be positioned in the centre of a square, along the main street or on a slightly raised area, becoming one of the main visual landmarks of the entire display.

A small Christmas scene can be created around the church using figures, snow-covered trees, street lamps and other details. By combining it with Lemax houses and buildings, you can also recreate a complete town centre, with streets and pathways leading from the main square towards shops, houses and other areas of the village.

At Holyart, you can find houses, buildings, Lemax churches and Facades to design a new Christmas village or expand an existing display, choosing the buildings best suited to your style and the space available.
