Raku ceramic crib, with intense and lively colours including 5 pieces. The Raku technique is of Japanese origin and the word "Raku" means comfortable, plesant. The crib is mouled in refractory clay then fired a first time at 950-1000°C, after this firing process, it is decorated and then fired a second time. When the colour reaches the suitable brilliance and the crib is hot, the kiln is opened and the statuettes are removed from it and placed in a metal box with combustible materials (papers, wood, etc). This process causes a reduction of the statues. After this, the statuettes are removed from the metal box and immersed in water to make thier brilliant colour stand out.
