Hand-painted Russian icon of the Christ Pantocrator 5.5x3.9 inches. Russian icon painted by hand inspired by other iconographic paintings of the 16th century.
The icon represents one of the most classic of Christ's icons, Christ Pantocrator, wher Jesus is depicted in a blessing position, facing the viewer, with a very expressive face. He holds an open Gospel in his left hand, for the viewer to read, and has Greek letters in his halo designating him as "the One who is".
